Tsugio Kurushima

The President of the Victoria Nikkei Cultural Society, Tsugio Kurushima has been an active member of the broader BC Nikkei community since the foundation of the National Coalition for Redress/Reparations in 1980. He is a member of Uminari Taiko and the Furusato Dancers, both traditional Japanese musical groups which work to maintain and spread Nikkei arts on southern Vancouver Island.
