Mayu Kanamori

Mayu Kanamori is an artist specializing in photography, digital art, and art documentaries that create storytelling narratives. One of the founding members of Nikkei Australia, she has helped to curate an online community that aims to promote research and information exchange in the Nikkei diaspora in Australia. She has published a photography collection about Japanese subcultures, entitled Unseen Faces of Japan, and her written publications relating to storytelling and heritage culture include:
