Patti Simpson
Patricia Simpson (sansei, she/her) is President of Hamilton Chapter National Association of Japanese Canadians and is a lifelong member of the Japanese Canadian community in Hamilton. She is a retired healthcare worker/researcher and is currently a member of the NAJC Capacity Building Steering Committee (membership Task force). In addition to her role with Hamilton NAJC, she serves as a volunteer board member of the Canadian Japanese Cultural Centre of Hamilton and a volunteer at Momiji Health Care Society. She supports the creation of a Japanese Canadian Freedom Day on April 1st.
Patricia is interested in using her experience of the local organizations to help other Japanese Canadians connect with each other and hopes to benefit and support other member organizations in Canada.
