Lara Okihiro

An independent scholar, Lara Okihiro specializes in the writing and researching of mixed Japanese Canadian Heritage in Toronto. With publications pertaining to topics of Japanese Canadian Internment, literature, racism, social justice, trauma, memory, and education, she writes from a place of personal family history and experience with dispossession. Her recent works include:
