Susanne Tabata

Susanne Tabata is a distinguished independent filmmaker and producer, who serves as chair of the Film Initiative of PWFC. Her documentary work centres themes of truthtelling, alienation, and belonging, drawing on experiences of trauma endured by her pre-war Japanese-Canadian family. She also led NAJC BC Redress Project, and serves as the Chief Executive Officer for the Japanese Canadian Legacies Society.
